Nothing much is known about Kogmenthist Castle. The first and only records of Kogmenthist Castle appear in "The Wolf Queen, Book VII". By the time, more precisely 3E 127, the castle is already referred as ruins. By the time of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, there could be nothing left of it. While exact location of Kogmensthist Castle is unknown, it is known that there are steep hills to the south and north of the castle, and east of it lies swamp.
