Selected by Toronto Maple Leafs 5th round (#81) in 1978 NHL Amateur Draft is a retired professional ice hockey left winger who played 268 games in the National Hockey League and 51 games in the World Hockey Association. He played for the Hartford Whalers, Minnesota North Stars, and Winnipeg Jets. Douglas played junior for the Flin Flon Bombers and scored 116 points in 1977-78. He was picked 81st overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1978 NHL Amateur Draft but instead signed with the New England Whalers of the World Hockey Association.
