Monthuglu are evil spirits in the mythology of a culture in the Delta Quadrant. Captain Uthlow, a member of this culture, called the non-corporeal entities inside the Tenebrous Cluster "Monthuglu", and the crew of the USS Voyager adopted that name for them as well.
