The police are uniformed officers responsible for enforcing the law, operating out of the Las Venturas Police Department, servicing the city of Las Venturas. They ensure public and social order, through the legitimized and restricted use of force. The Police are present in all Grand Theft Auto games. Police are trained in first aid and rescue, because police officers are often one of the first people to get to a place where people are sick or injured, such as a car accident, fire or shooting.
