Doctor Emmett Meridian is a character in DEXTER, introduced in Season One. Dr. Meridian is a psychiatrist with a hidden reputation for making women commit suicide and as such, is one of the more elaborate serial killers in the series. Dexter Morgan actually uses his advice to help with a situation with Rita Bennett, though shows no remorse in targeting him. Dr. Meridian recorded video files of each of his patients, Dexter managed to discover a list of the names recorded on his computer (he deleted the name Sean Ellis, which was his alias, in order ensure that no evidence was left behind):
