Harry Dean Stanton is an American actor and musician with a wide and varied career than has spanned over fifty years. He appeared in many iconic films including Cool Hand Luke, The Godfather Part II and Alien before his breakout role as the protaganist of Paris, Texas. He has also more recently branched out in television with a recurring role in Big Love.
