Comments: Sensors are useless, right? I mean, getting all the way to Mark IV doesn't really take all that many research points, but what possible use does it have if it doesn't blow stuff up? Lots, easily. With this Achievement, each ship, from the greatest ultra-tech dreadnought down to the lowliest scout you can possibly build, will have a sensor range covering a massive area. You can easily cover a huge area with ships, meaning that no opponent will ever sneak up on you again. The strategic use of this achievement is fairly difficult to overstate, and it's one of the best in the game.
