Ghavun was a Bajoran male with white hair who appeared in a vision sent to Kira Nerys by the Prophets in 2377. Ghavun was a General in the Bajora army. In the vision, Ghavun believed that they should attack the Eav'oq, who had captured the Bajora stronghold of Parek Tonn, before the Ascendants arrived. Ghavun was later killed in the battle with the Ascendants. (DS9 novel: Warpath) "Ghavun" is an anagram of "Vaughn".
