Carney Logsden was a logger and the second husband of Velma Hardesty. He was noted by his stepson Cory Joe Lang to be very ignorant for marrying his mother, which their marital relationship quickly deteriorated and eventually divorced. Prior to their divorce, however, Carney and Velma were able to produced two daughters, Susan and Tina, and were placed under the custody of their mother after a lengthy custody battle.
