Sa'al was a Taelon engineer and one of many of his kind that had operated on the planet Earth. He was deeply involved with the Human Director of Portal Research in the deployment of the Portal Terminals on Earth. After the death of the Director, Sa'al was involved in a public speech in order to reaffirm Humanity's faith in the portal system but also suffered from the attack of a mysterious assassin.
