Tzekel-Kan is the high priest of the hidden city El Dorado who awaits the coming of the Age of the Jaguar where he hopes to purge the denizens of his society of those he considers unworthy. After the arrival of the "gods" Tulio and Miguel as well as their servants, he would be met by his fellow "holy man" and sorcerer Rasputin who thinks he could be a suitable recruit to his group. Rasputin puts forward the idea that the visitors are charlatans which Tzekel-Kan decides to test.
