Yellow Submarine is the tenth album by The Beatles. It was released in the United States on 13 January 1969 and on 17 January 1969 in the United Kingdom. It is a soundtrack to the Yellow Submarine film, which featured the Beatles as animated characters. Side A contains two previously released songs and four new ones, while Side B consists of orchestral pieces from the film.
