Argai (Tionese: Арќаи) was a terrestrial planet in the Tionese Mandate of the Outer Rim Territories. It was historically known for being a powerhouse, the first capitol of the Xim's empire. Maintaining the status of a forgotten backwater world during the golden years of Galactic Republic, it again came to prominence after joining the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. The Separatist-backed radical political organization, the Argaian Revolutionary Movement, came to power, and instituted a unitary state over Argai. After the defeat of the CIS, the planet was occupied by the Galactic Empire before the garrison was defeated an in uprising in 8 BBY—6 BBY.
