Enlightenment is a Scholar Job ability in Final Fantasy XI. Learned via Merit Points from level 75, it allows the Scholar to use a spell from either Addendum: Black or Addendum: White for their next spell, regardless of whether the scholar is in Light Arts or Dark Arts. It has a duration of 1 minute if no spell is cast, and a recast time of 10 minutes, though the recast time can be reduced through spending more Merit Points.
