Once released into the air, upon physical contact, the pollen weakens the will of its target. If it is inhaled, the subject loses all capacity for independent thought and becomes a "drone" that lives solely to serve "Queen" Zazzala. Drones seduced by the pollen seem to be linked to a hive consciousness and are completely subservient to their Queen's commands, this social nature is almost identical to the natures of various colony insects like ants, termites and bees.
