The author Tamar Myers writes both the Den of Antiquity series and the Magdalena Yoder series of mysteries. She was born in 1948 in the Congo (then the Belgium Congo). Her first published novel appears to be Too Many Crooks Spoil the Broth (1994). The blurb at the back of one of her books says that she lives in the Carolinas and is an avid antiques collector. (The protagonist of the Den of Antiquity series is Abigail Timberlake Washburn the proprieter of an antiques shop in Charleston.)
