Ephel Brandir (also called the Ephel) was a settlement that consisted of the dwellings of the Men of Brethil in the Beleriand in Middle-earth. It lay upon the hill of Amon Obel in the forest of Brethil and is where Túrin was taken when he fell ill. It was ruled by Brandir son of Handir, the sixth Chieftain of the Haladin.
