Once, Wonder Woman and The Atom were sent back in time by Doctor Wells to Trenton, New Jersey during the Revolutionary War. It was then, in 1776, that they observed George Washington crossing the Delaware River. The General saw them and thought that they were British soldiers, and had his Continental Soldiers seize them, but they escaped, and before leaving, Atom told the General that he was going to be a fine president. In 1863, U.S. president Abraham Lincoln mentioned the war at the Gettysburg Address when he said: "Four score and seven years ago..." referring to this time period.
