The paokai is an upgrade of the wyvern, the sixth-level creature of the Stronghold town in Heroes of Might and Magic V: Tribes of the East. The other upgrade is the foul wyvern. The paokai lacks the foul wyvern's Venom, which means it does less damage to its target, and it doesn't Regenerate. However, Scavenger will let it heal itself by consuming corpses, and Lightning Breath will spread its damage to nearby foes, making it better suited for fighting a large number of weaker stacks.
