In 250 ABY, when during a search in his ship by Galactic Federation Triumvirate troopers they discovered the location of Epsiloon's base on Rodia, Shavan left Epsiloon's organization and reached High Eisley on Tatooine. During the journey, however, he found an intruder in his ship: a Bothan named Herrik who was trying to steal Shavan's load before the arrival of the soldiers. After a persuasion, Shavan chose to take him as a companion.
