The Communication Circle, also known as the Communications Circle and Comm Circle, was located on the planet Kegan. The various circles on Kegan formed an interconnected ring around the Gathering Circle. The Communication Circle was connected to the Tech Circle on one side and the Study Circle on the other. A central instruction processor (CIP) was guarded within the Communication Circle, used to control the autohoppers that monitored all Keganite activity. With limited technological advances on Kegan during its isolationist period, high-quality communications devices could be limited to workers assigned to the Communication Circle. V-Nen worked in the Communication Circle
