The technique is performed by the user forming the series of hand seals required for the technique and then placing their hands on the body of water the target is standing on. Water chakra is flowed from the hands to the body of water to force the opposing currents around the target to meet and form a whirlpool around the target that will drag them under. The power and size of the technique can be changed by adding or subtracting water chakra to increase or decrease the power of the whirlpool.
