Apotheosis is a staff that is considered to be quite powerful and inflicts fire, frost, and shock damage to its target. The staff has the power to kill guards or other higher level entities in a couple hits. It also has a unique attack appearance, as it fires the shock-type attack, but leaves the "misty" aura residue of a Frost attack.
