Aviano Air Base was a military base in Italy. After their reactivation, Captain Jack Bauer and his Delta Force team flew to Aviano Air Base to receive a final briefing on their mission to Kosovo, codenamed Operation Nightfall. The team deployed aboard an Air Force Special Operations MC-130 Combat Talon, launched from the base at 3:00am local time. (Findings at CTU)
