Built during the First War, Axegrinder Hold was established by Gamgarr Skullsplinter as a base of operations for the Bonechewer Clan on Azeroth. Overhangs and deep ravines hide the base and create a maze, making it difficult to find both on foot and by air. However, the Bonechewers proudly display their banners on the walls and fortifications of the Hold, which has traditional Orcish architecture. With 20 years passing and no incident of war reaching it, the Hold has grown considerably since its inception and is now quite defensible.
