The castle located in the middle of the kingdom of Daventry near the eastern Great Mountains, originally south of Lake Maylie. Built on a prominence (large hill or small mountain), overlooking the town of Daventry, it was built (or perhaps renovated) by King Edward the Benevolent as a gift to his bride, Queen Maylie. Previous to that time, he was apparently ruling from the much smaller, old Castlekeep of Daventry. The Royal Family is welcoming of those who come to visit to the kingdom, and there is always room in the castle for visitors.
