Detroit Beach is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Monroe County, Michigan. The community is wholly contained within Frenchtown Charter Township on the shoreline of Lake Erie. The community is located about three miles northeast of downtown Monroe and is bordered by Sandy Creek to the southwest and Woodland Beach to the northeast. The community is also adjacent to Sterling State Park, to the southwest. The population was 2,289 during the 2000 census.
