These are the articles laid out by Captain Jacob Astor of the Imperial ship Privateer... Wherein the Articles of the Ship are Layed [sic] Bare. * Incentive Bonus: The man who shall first see an enemy ship, if she be a prize shall recieve 250 credits to burden his purse. * Workman's Compensation: That if any man shall lose an eye, leg or arm or the use thereof, shall recieve 500 credits to burden his purse. * Disobediance: That whosoever shall disobey Command shall lose his share or receive such Corporall punishment as the Captain shall deem fit. * Cowardice: That man is proved a coward in time of engagement shall lose his share. * Drunkeness: That man that shall be drunk in time of engagement before the prisoners then taken to be secured, shall lose his share.
