The "Settlement" is a run down ghost town located somewhere in the Rub' al Khali desert. After surviving the Cargo Plane crash, Nathan Drake finds it while searching for food and water. It contains several buildings, most of which are ruined and crumbling. The village was formerly supplied with water through wells, however they have since run dry. While exploring the village, Nate is ambushed by Marlowe's men.
