The Adelaide Avalanche were a semi-professional ice hockey team based in Thebarton, South Australia that played in the Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL). The club was formed in 2000 and was arguably the most successful team in the short history of the AIHL, winning five minor premierships and two championships in their eight years of competition.
