Jamie McCrimmon and Zoe Heriot journeyed to the station and hid from the Ice Warrior. The Second Doctor also arrived and used solar power to kill the Ice Warrior. He bypassed the control unit by reconnecting the wiring. This allowed him to initiate rain, destroying the pods. (TV: The Seeds of Death)
