Treats (File:Treat Currency Icon.png) were a limited time currency used during the Treehouse of Horror XXIII Event. The player could buy limited time Halloween themed items with them such as the Bad Dream House or the Springfield Subatomic Supercollider. At the end of the event, surplus Treats vanished. This caused much annoyance in the Forums, as this meant that all of the players' Treats went to waste. However, this changed in the Christmas 2012 Event, when surplus Santa Coins were available to spend on a mystery stocking which would contain donuts or a reindeer.
