Jaza Chakrys was a Bajoran who was the father of Jaza Najem. Chakrys was a doctor who during the Cardassian Occupation of Bajor tended to his patients in an old shrine that had been converted into a make-shift hospital. Chakrys was killed during the Occupation. (TTN novel: Sword of Damocles)
