Rudy Cooper is a character in DEXTER. A plumber from New Jersey, he met with an unfortunate end in 1998 when a man named Brian Moser murdered him, stealing both his name and social security number to create an alias to get close to Dexter Morgan. This information was discovered by a contact of Sergeant James Doakes during an investigation of Brian's apartment. Deb: "Your name isn't even fucking Rudy Cooper is it?"Brian: "Nope...but he died for a good cause."
