University of Dayton or UD, is a 150 year old Catholic university located in Ohio. It is Ohio's largest private university that was once boarding school for boys located among farmland. Founded by the Society of Mary (the Marianists) in 1850, it is rated one of the 10 best Catholic universities in the nation. UD has over 70 undergraduate programs and graduate programs at both the master's and doctoral levels.
