Ding Toller was the squirrel Bellringer at Redwall Abbey during the time of Abbot Thibb. As a companion of Jum Gurdy, he often spent time in the cellar. He was a tall, gaunt, slim squirrel. Along with Dorka Gurdy, he saw the Greenshroud when Alfio and Guggle sneaked onto the walltop to look out at the surrounding area. Ding took charge when the Abbey dwellers were gathering combustible items for when Razzid Wearat and his crew arrived at the Abbey.
