Tipoca City was the capital city of Kamino. Built both above and partially below the surface of the planet's ocean, the city was constructed following the Great Flood that submerged the planet's continents beneath the ocean, nearly causing the Kaminoan people to become extinct. After constructing Tipoca City and a number of other structures above the ocean's surface, the city became the center of cloning on Kamino. A clone army secretly built for the Galactic Republic was created and trained in Tipoca City.
