an Entity in Data Space: dbkwik.org

Microspot is a morph of Dendrobates auratus. It is always primarily turquoise with a few small, circular spots of bronze. It is one of the largest D. auratus morphs, reaching 4 cm long. Whether this morph is simply a variant of the green and bronze Panamanian auratus or a morph in its own right remains up for debate. It is not commonly seen in captivity and is probably the most sought after auratus morphs. In the wild, it is common in suitable habitat; however, its limited range is shrinking rapidly.
