Hewex Marquand was a human male Kuati commander in the Grand Army of the Republic and later a general in the Imperial Army following the Clone Wars. A supporter of the New Order, Marquand did not agree with much of what the Galactic Republic did, and was glad when Palpatine declared himself Emperor and created the Galactic Empire. A skilled tactician and strategist, Marquand originally rose up the ranks of Kuat Security but was drafted into the Grand Army at the outbreak of the Clone Wars.
