The DJ played the disco at the wedding reception of Peter Barlow to Shelley Unwin in July 2003 during which Tracy Preston poured a packet of the "date rape" drug rohypnol into Roy Cropper's champagne glass and, when he was "under the influence", took him home to No.1 for the night in order to win a bet with Bev Unwin that she could bed any man. Much later on, after Roy had been driven to the edge of suicide by her actions, she confessed that nothing had actually occurred during the night.
