Manca Špik is an Arjan singer who will represent her country in the NSC 10 finals in Alinta with the song "Marinero" (Sailor). Before participating in the Arjan national finals for the Nation Song Contest, Manca was unknown to the larger Arjan community, having worked previously mainly in cabaret acts and holiday resorts around the country. After she won the national finals, "Marinero" shot to #1 on the Arjan singles chart and she enjoyed the support of the people, even though "Marinero" was only the 3rd favourite in the Arjan televote. She ended up finishing 14th in the final.
