Johnstone is the Governor of Sugar Maple Coast. There's a deceased Sim in Sugar Maple Coast named Angela Gilman, who was married to a Goth, but did not change her last name. In her biography, it's mentioned that her father is James Gilman. It is unknown what their relation to this family is, however, although it's highly likely that they are related in some way.
