Vesna Pusić (born 25 March 1953) is the current Prime Minister of Croatia and is the leader of the liberal-conservative Liberal Democratic Party (LDS), governing in a coalition with the Croatian Peasant Party (HSS), Law and Justice Party (PiV), Pensioner's Party ( ), and the Serbian People's Unity Party ( ) since the May 2013 general election. She is the first female Prime Minister of Croatia since the 1970s, the first Prime Minister to assemble a five-party coalition (all other coalitions have had four or less parties) and is the first Prime Minister to ever assemble a coalition not involving either the HDZ or Narodna.
