Mike felt that Harley Dexter had stolen $65 000 from him. At first he tried sneaking around Dexter's house to try to find a way to get it back, but after this resulted in a beating he agreed to hire the Angels to con Dexter. Dexter called their original arrangement a "land venture". Mike said that he lost everything in that deal, including his garage.
