The Cleveland Browns are an American football professional franchise that plays in the AFL, and which has, as of 2012, won six AFL titles (1959, 1960, 1961, 1980, 1981, 1997), putting Cleveland alone at third place for most championships won, behind Dallas and Green Bay. Prior to joining the AFL, the Browns were part of the Midwest Football League from 1946-1957, and regard themselves as the successor to the Ohio Valley Football Association's Cleveland Panthers (1930-1933). The Browns play at Cleveland Browns Stadium along Lake Erie, where they have played since 2000, and are owned by Mr. Mike Brown. The Browns are currently coached by Tate Williams.
