Lady Telarien was a Highborn female of pure Knorth bloodlines. She was the daughter of Kinzi, consort of Gerraint and the mother of Greshan, Ganth and Tieri, and was thus the grandmother of Jame and Torisen through Ganth and of Kindrie through Tieri. Telarien was weakened by giving birth to her son Ganth. Years later, she died from complications with the birth of Tieri, her youngest child, a year before Greshan's death and eleven years before the Knorth Massacre.
