Ogre is a FOE in the 4th stratum in Etrian Odyssey I. The Ogre can deal huge amounts of damage once it uses Evil Cry, so using a Dark Hunter with a High-level Gag can prevent this. Also, a Hexer can be effective against it, as the combo Evil Eye - Suicide (or Betrayal, if it isn't the only monster in the fray) , can deal some damage, plus restricting its turn.
