One variant of ghoul was the well preserved type found among the shifting lands of the Gaer-Durlith. Related to the Lesinavi of Far Harad, these creatures were the remnants of people who perished in the soft ash while traversing its dangerous expanse. Simply called Ash Ghouls, they were rarely encountered.
