Fierce Blood of the Earth was a Mastery 5 earth maho spell which allowed the Maho-tsukai to consume the life essence of one living being, which must be supplied by the caster. This life force was absorbed into the caster, healing all immediate damage and halting the aging process for one full year. Continued use of this spell dried and cracked the skin and desiccated the internal organs. If at any point the caster lose all Shadowlands Taint, he was destroyed instantly. This spell was once unique, but was spread throughout the Shadowlands by the necromancer Kuni Girakuma. It was known that Hida Ruri, formerly of the Chuda, was a caster of this spell.
