Before he turn evil Toshi was born from Japan and mostly became curious and concerned about most things which however when he was younger he begins friendship with a boy name riku which he considered him as a brother to him the two of them became best friends and most rival about certain things but considered to have each other's back which he looks up at him as a brother and almost as a best friend.
